The treatise gives an intimate glimpse of the inner life and esoteric thought of Imam al-Ghazzali. It begins where his autobiographical Deliverance from Error (Al-Munqidh min al-Dalal) leaves off. The book expounds the celebrated light verse (23:35) from the quran and the subjects of veils from the Hadith.
